Canva has Super Easy Video Creation Templates

I decided to see how good the video creation templates are in Canva today.

I am Totally Impressed with the experience!

I made the video below for a facebook ad about my new template in 30 minutes.

Canva Video Template

What I Did

  1. Chose a Video Template within Canva
  2. I used Snagit to screen capture little snippets and then added them as background video to the template.  Super easy and quick!
  3. Rinse and repeat for each page I needed.

Way more professional and enjoyable to watch than my 1st attempt with a Keynote presentation made with automations and exported as a movie, which I then imported into Camtasia and added some too long video about the processes I’ve demo’d in the video.

What I Know Think of Canva

This experience was fantastic and super intuitive.  Now I do already use Canva for my image creation but I’d never looked at the video templates.  I guess I felt they’d be too hard to use.

I’m so glad I tackled this today as it was fast, simple and the end results is way more professional than my 1st attempt with a Keynote presentation made with automations and exported as a movie, which I then imported into Camtasia and added some too long video about the processes I’ve demo’d in the video.

If you need video in your marketing (which lets face it – we all do these days), then check out Canva.  The free version allows for the video templates, but if you also want to save yourself a lot of stress using the ‘background remover’ feature is brilliant.  You’ll need a paid version for this, but so worth it as you won’t need expensive and difficult to learn other apps.
