When I first started out as an entrepreneur I didn’t call myself that and I was learning as I went. I felt overwhelmed and didn’t know what I didn’t know.
I spent years teaching myself, or taking online courses, and researching various apps and processes to see what suited me.
The process is natural for many of us, but the one key thing I wish I’d done from the beginning was document the tools I’d reviewed, researched and learnt and kept a record of why I chose it over another, or why I went with it.
My video below demonstrates my current method for recording all my tech tools, and I’ve created a template for you to all use, together with some online training to show you how to use it.

It includes a place to list all your tools, and I bet you are surprised at how many you have and how many you are actually using.
There are many ways to slice your list to allow you to analyse and review it including which workflow process you use the tools in, are they integrated with another tool.
Plus I’ve included a table for all yourSupplier and Affiliate details. I was always spending way too much time looking for an affiliate link, or navigating to the Affiliate Dashboard for this app and then another for another app.
With my Creatives Tech Toolkit it works as a ‘hub’ for all-the-things I need to know about my tech tools.
